Regarded as one of the world’s finest wine events, the IPNC is also praised as a showcase for the Northwest’s famed farm-to-table cuisine. This weekend event is the perfect opportunity to celebrate with over 70 international pinot noir winemakers and 60 northwest chefs.
Every year since 1987, the small Oregon town of McMinnville has been host to one of the most remarkable events in the world of wine, The International Pinot Noir Celebration (IPNC). Bringing together winemakers and wine lovers from across the world, it’s a joyful occasion where wine is put in its proper context: rather than just being a mega-tasting where the wine is sniffed, slurped and spat, the delegates actually get to drink some stuff, paired with some very good food.
A long-standing tradition of the IPNC, the Salmon Bake dramatically showcases wild pacific salmon roasted on an alder fire. While you bask in the warm glow of a lantern lit oak grove. With Pinot Noir and wines from around the world you will enjoy an extravagant outdoor buffet designed by local chefs. There will also be an extraordinary assortment of hand-crafted desserts. After dinner you can relax to music and dancing under the stars.
